1. Edit the basic details of a  file to change its name, description, and tags

Document properties, also known as metadata, are details about a file that describe or identify it. They include details such as title, author name, subject, and keywords that identify the document's topic or contents. When the document properties are included for the files, it is easy to organize and identify them later. It is also possible to search for documents based on their properties.

1. To edit the name, description or metadata of a file,  right-click on the file and choose Edit.

When you click Edit, below screen appears. The metadata fields appear on scrolling down.
